Emma (my sister) came for the day yesterday and we always have a good natter about all manner of things. Yesterday we talked about E-bikes, farm life and the kids. We also had to go out and usher my three pigs back into their pen after they had managed to escape and had found their way down by the goats! We got them up as far as the oak tree where the acorns proved way too moorish to leave. They eventually headed back to their pen to find their water and sleep in their arc.
We went for a lovely walk with Honey, the sun was shining and it was incredibly mild for October. Inevitably our chat turned to art and what we’ve been up to. I wanted to show her my (very nearly) finished Garden Journal (the full video can be watched on my YouTube channel). It was lovely looking back on the last 9 months and chatting through the pages with her. Take a look if you have some time.
We spoke about how it would be a great time of year to start nature journaling and decided we’d make a start this week, and get together next week for a little show and tell. I’ll do a post about our first entries next week.
